new garden

so spring is here and i am getting ready to start my temporary fire escape garden. i have managed to create a list this year of which plants i would like to plant this year:

hot peppers
basil
sage
rosemary
thyme
oregano
marjoram
lavender
chives
parsley
mint
lemon verbena
lemon grass
dill
chervil
different lettuces and kyle

i have had a pretty good experience with most of these plants. the new ones are marjoram and chervil. i am going to do some research and find out more about them. the goal this year is to create a good herb garden that i am going to make the effort of drying and use. in past years the plants i have grown, though edible, have mostly been a relaxing scenery. this year my goal is to have produce and use this blog to capture my efforts and experience with my plants. i think after 3 years of experimenting with my green thumb i want to take it a step further.
